Training

Dr. Monica German was born and raised in Romania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical School in Bucharest in 1990. After completing her residency in Adult and Pediatric Oncology, she came to the US to further her medical training. After successfully completing a 3 year Pediatric residency training program at the University Hospital SUNY at Stony Brook, she was appointed Chief Resident of the entire program and was awarded the distinguished AMA physician recognition award.

Dr. German is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She completed 2 out of 3 phases for certification by the Council of Homeopathic certification, the highest US homeopathic certification available.

Dr. German is a member of the following professional organizations:

  • The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Complementary and Integrative Medicine section of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
  • The National Center of Homeopathy and California Homeopathic Medical Society

Classical Homeopathic Training

  • Completed both the Practitioner Certification Program and the Advanced Clinical Studies program at the Classical Homeopathy School of Colorado (now named the Homeopathy School International)
  • Graduated from New England School of Homeopathy (Portland Course), where she trained with Paul Herscu
  • Completed the Rajan Sankaran Distance course, Wednesdays with Rajan

Functional Medicine Practitioner

  • Graduated the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice), January 2010
